Do you like movies and TV shows? No?? Oh, dear… Maybe you took a wrong turn on the internet?

But if you DO like those things, we can probably get along famously. If you’re looking for info and insight on films, series and other aspects of pop culture, from theme parks to collectibles, you’re in the right place!

What is this… new way?

I’ve been covering entertainment media for two decades now, and if you’ve seen my work at IGN, Marvel, or Fandom, you’re probably familiar with my history of in-depth interviews, features, and discussions in the world of pop culture. But I’m excited to be a bit less confined here, able to dive deep into exciting subjects I might not have had as much time for in the past or might not have been a good fit for certain sites. Not that I’m gonna not be posting about Marvel and Star Wars still too — I mean come on, it’s me — but I’m looking to also post about films and series like Past Lives or The Zone of Interest as well, or some specific and fascinating aspect of how a theme park operates. It’s all on the table.

What’s the frequency, Kenneth?

I’ll be publishing at least one free tier post near the top of the month. For those of you who join as paid subscribers, there will be new posts at the very least once a week but I’m looking to make that at least twice very quickly - just want to figure out the logistics.

Eric Goldman's Cultured Pop is a reader-supported publication. To receive new posts and support my work, consider becoming a free or paid subscriber.

Eric Goldman has been covering pop culture since 2006, including stints at IGN, Marvel, and Fandom and has likely spent too much time thinking about movies and theme parks.
