It’s been a busy week, but I wanted to catch up on some new releases in theaters this weekend with mini(ish) reviews of the tearjerker romance We Live in Time, starring Florence Pugh and Andrew Garfield, and the Donald Trump biopic, The Apprentice, starring Sebastian Stan and Jeremy Strong. Both feature strong performances, but while one is able to overcome its formulaic nature, the other has a harder time in creating something appealing for a larger audience.
