Slowly but surely, Netflix has become a force to be reckoned with in animation in recent years. From adult-animated projects BoJack Horseman and Big Mouth, to more adventure-oriented series like Arcane and Jurassic World: Chaos Theory to highly acclaimed films like the Academy Award-winning Guillermo del Toro’s Pinocchio and the Oscar-nominated Nimona, there’s been a lot to be proud of.

That being the case, Netflix went big on their animation slate Thursday, holding a Next on Netflix: Animation media event that showcased a ton of upcoming titles, complete with new announcements, cast reveals, imagery, clips and more. There were more than 20 reveals done for films and series aimed all all sorts of different audiences, from Zack Snyder’s Norse mythology-based Twilight of the Gods series, to two SpongeBob Squarepants movies, to a film called K-Pop: Demon Hunters, which we were told was a temporary working title but which, honestly, I think they should stick with.

Below are the five that got my attention the most though, from the return of a couple of beloved characters, to the extension of familiar IP that could use a refresh, to a couple of brand new titles that look like they might have that magic touch when it comes to crafting an engaging animated world.
